A Letter from the Owners & Innkeepers of the Seaglass Inn

Welcome to the Seaglass Bed & Breakfast Inn located in the heart of the small historic town of Melbourne Beach, one of Florida’s first barrier island towns.

Patricia and I first want to say how grateful we are to be part of this amazing historic gem in the middle of this quaint beach town.  We are blessed to take on this new venture and we welcome you to be part of it. 

We are both first generation American’s, with Patricia’s family from Germany and mine from Italy. We were raised as Floridian’s and met in Gainesville…Go Gators!  We settled first in Boca Raton, where our two kids were born, Reef and Sage. I have been surfing these beaches for more than 35 years and know what a special place it is between the ocean and the river. We moved to Melbourne Beach 14 years ago as the perfect place to raise our family. With our kids moving on as adults, we think it is the perfect time to take on a new project!

We think the property is a gorgeous and feel very blessed that we have the opportunity and privilege to take care of such an enchanting place. Everything about it is magical… From the history of the house, to the small historic village downtown, to the endless miles of beaches and beautiful coastal island. When we walked into the Inn it felt like we had come home.

This place has it all. It provides rest and relaxation for guests longing to escape, celebrate special occasions or looking to explore natures wonders. Melbourne Beach is a quaint historic seaside village alongside the Indian River Lagoon with beautiful restored houses and Antebellum homes along side by the sea and the Intracoastal Waterway and all the wonders that central Florida’s beaches have to offer. We are very passionate about the wonderful history of Melbourne Beach and all that the barrier island has to offer guests who visit. When you walk through the doors of the SeaGlass Inn, it is like stepping back in time with a surprise of a modern Key West feel in the Courtyard that awaits you. As innkeepers, our specialty is personalized service, delicious breakfasts, and hands-on attention to create a relaxing getaway, luxurious yet comfortable. SeaGlass Inn is a place of rest, retreat and shared memories. Whether you want to experience the numerous activities found nearby, read that special book, get reacquainted with that special person in your life or just relax and stroll the historic shops and dine in our wonderful restaurants. Our goal is to make this experience your best you have had.
