“The Indian River Flute Circle and Native Heritage Gathering, Inc. proudly present the sixth annual gathering of the Native Rhythms Festival. This three day festival during Native American Heritage Month honors the culture of the indigenous peoples of the Americas through music, and especially the music of the Native American Flute.”
This fascinating event will take place in Wickham Park during this upcoming weekend, November 7th – 9th and will offer several days of both performances and workshops. Come to listen and marvel at the beauty of the music or to learn a new skill. The venue is a mere 20 minutes away from the SeaGlass Inn.
“Admission to the festival is FREE. Musical performances are scheduled throughout each day, with headliner performances starting in the late afternoon through 10pm.
Multiple award-winning musicians from all over the United States will be performing throughout the weekend, including a Saturday and Sunday performance by Two-time Grammy Award winning Native American flutist and performer Robert Mirabal. Other headliner performers include Arvel Bird, Scott August, Jonny Lipford, Randy Granger, Michael Brant DeMaria, Dock Green Silverhawk, Ed Wind Dancer, Painted Raven, and Mark McGourley”
