This Saturday, October 18th, Zombie Walks Brevard will be in Downtown Melbourne with hoards of volunteers, all of them dressed, you guessed it, as zombies. The event has become an annual tradition in our town, and absolutely anyone can take part. The excerpt below was taken from the event Facebook Page and includes a wealth of information for would-be undead guests. We hope to see you there!
“At 1pm the event will be officially open to the public. FREE EVENT (though we ask for a donation to Pancreatic Cancer Research)
There will be vendors selling Zombie related merchandise. In addition there will be games and entertainment for children and adults. We will perform the costume contest before the walk and prizes will be awarded.
MAKE UP ARTISTS will we on site applying wounds for a small cash fee. Arrive early to avoid the lines.
At 4pm Sharp we will release the survivors to run for their lives and the zombies will follow. After the walk all vendors will remain open till 5pm. This is a family friendly event. We welcome everyone. The survivors have a cap so please message the coordinators if you wish to be a survivor. Otherwise we are asking everyone to attend as zombies.
